Simon Carmody is an AFI-trained editor with over 20 years experience across feature film, unscripted television, and advertising in the U.S. and Australia.

After beginning his career as a commercial stills photographer in Sydney, Simon moved to New Orleans to study film before completing his MFA in Editing at the American Film Institute. He has since edited and produced narrative and documentary features, led editorial teams on unscripted TV series, and delivered national campaigns and music videos for U.S. and international clients.

In 2023, Simon returned home to Sydney, Australia. Where he now lives and works as a storyteller.
